The COVID-19 pandemic led to the collapse of international transport, producing a global shortage and generating images in which the literal, the metaphorical, and the theatrical became intertwined. I created these large-scale installations while studying at the RCA, emphasizing absence and the collective anxiety of confronting scarcity, seen in the hollowed-out supermarket shelves, where the memory of abundance lingers like a ghost within an unfamiliar and fragile emptiness.
